Make-up artist Lukas Budweiser reveals his professional tip: With strong blue shadows, a great color-balancing effect can be achieved with a simple orange lipstick. To do this, dab it on the affected area with your fingertip and cover it later with the concealer.
Step 1
The preparation of the skin is very important. A delicate eye cream with shimmer particles or a good dose of anti-aging are the ideal basis for perfectly covered dark circles. The product should not be too greasy, but still moisturizing enough to even out small wrinkles.
Step 2
With the Concealer, not only the color plays an important role, but also the texture. A high coverage cream is often sufficient for younger skin, while balanced skin should be valued for older skin. The color shade should then be slightly lighter than the actual color of the skin.
Step 3
We apply the appropriate concealer in a suggested triangular shape along the root of the nose and below the lash line in order to achieve as much effect as possible. So we can not only cover the shadows. The face is shaped at the same time.
In order to prevent the concealer from slipping and to reduce the visibility of wrinkles, a delicate silk powder with a powder puff is worked directly onto the stressed areas.
